Two months away… And go!

Instead of going on honeymoon for two weeks, we decided to extend it to two months! In lieu of Dylans impending move to the UAE, it felt like a good time to have a proper break and spend lots of quality time together after four years of hopping back and forth between Bahrain and Dubai.

The original idea behind this adventure was to pretty much take each day as it comes and make decisions along the way (our current thoughts on this idea will be fleshed out in another post). This blog serves as a tracker for those interested, and a reminder for us (when we eventually do sit behind a desk again and need inspiration). We hope to update once a week, wifi access depending.

"About us" would be more appropriate...We have been together for more than 10 years, although married for only a few weeks at the time of our blogs inception. We decided to take a two month sabbatical to travel South America, and the purpose of our blog was to record our adventures - for our own enjoyment in time to come, and friends who are interested. Hopefully we have started a habit that we will maintain on future adventures!
